Rocket League has online servers all around the world. When playing Rocket League, it’s best to choose the region closest to you. Choosing regions that are farther away may lead to lag and packet loss. Choosing Recommended selects the closest region and generally the one with the best connectivity. If you want to pick your own, follow the directions below.
To change your Casual and Competitive region:
- Select Play from the Main Menu.
- Select Casual or Competitive.
- Select the Regions button in the top right.
- Select your preferred region or Recommended.
To change your Tournament region:
- Select Settings from the Main Menu.
- Select the Gameplay tab.
- Select the Tournament Schedule Region drop-down menu.
- Select your region.
This setting can only be changed once every 24 hours.
To change your Private Match region:
- Select Play from the Main Menu.
- Select Custom Games.
- Select Private Match.
- Select Create Private Match.
- Select your preferred region or Recommended.

- Asia-SE Mainland
- Asian-SE Maritime
- Asia-East
