Jam Tracks are a new type of Locker item joining the Fortnite ecosystem. Jam Tracks are used in both Fortnite Festival Main Stage and Jam Stage but have different uses.
In Main Stage, you can add Jam Tracks to your setlist and rock out with your party (or solo). You can choose from 6 different song parts:
- Lead
- Drum
- Vocals
- Bass
- Pro Lead (requires guitar controller)
- Pro Bass (requires guitar controller)
In Jam Stage, Jam Tracks give you access to 4 types of Locker Jam Loops where you can create unique mashups with others:
- Lead Loops
- Drum Loops
- Vox (Vocals) Loops
- Bass Loops
Be sure to equip your Jam Tracks in your Locker before entering the Jam Stage!
- Start Fortnite.
- Select Locker.
- Select Jam Tracks.
- Select a square.
- Select the track you wish to equip.
- Select the Back button.
Done! The Jam Track is now equipped and ready to be used. You can save this preset of Jam Tracks by clicking Save Jam Tracks.
Here are some additional tips about Jam Tracks:
- You can equip up to 8 Jam Tracks. Once equipped, they can be used in the Fortnite Festival Main Stage and Jam Stage modes, as well as in Fortnite Battle Royale from the Emote menu.
- You can freely switch between instruments and your equipped Jam Tracks and play a loop with up to 4 people.
- You can unlock more Jam Tracks by progressing in each Season’s pass.
- Jam Tracks rotate but are also available in the Item Shop for V-Bucks if you want to add them to your collection.
