Is there a list of words/names I can’t use in the email for my Epic Games account?

When creating your Epic Games account, please be aware there are certain words/names you should avoid in the email associated with your account. If you use any of the words/names listed below in your email address, you may not receive automated emails from Epic Games.

For example, you should avoid using “webmaster@... “

Examples of reserved words include:

  • NOC
  • SECURITY
  • POSTMASTER
  • HOSTMASTER
  • USENET
  • NEWS
  • WEBMASTER
  • WWW
  • UUCP
  • FTP
  • ADMINISTRATOR
  • ADMIN
  • ADMINS
  • ALL
  • CUSTOMERCARE
  • DNS
  • MAILER-DAEMON
  • MDAEMON
  • NOFRIGGINSPAM
  • OPERATIONS
  • POSTMASTER
  • ROOT
  • SPAM
  • SPAMABUSE
  • SPAMBOX
  • SPAMCOP
  • SPAMTRAP
  • SUPPORT
  • SVERIGE
  • SYSTEM_ADMIN
