How do I run Rocket League as an administrator?

Setting Rocket League to run as an administrator can help in cases where Rocket League isn't starting.

Epic Games Store

To run Rocket League in the Epic Game Store as an administrator:

  1. Click the yellow folder icon in the bottom left corner
    This will open File Explorer.
  2. Double-click This Computer.
  3. Double-click Local Disk (C:).
  4. Double-click Program Files.
  5. Double-click Epic Games.
  6. Double-click rocketleague.
  7. Double-click the Rocket League folder.
  8. Double-click the Binaries folder.
  9. Double-click the Win64 folder.
  10. Right-click RocketLeague file.
  11. Select Properties.
  12. Click the Compatibility tab.
  13. Check the Run This Program As An Administrator box.
  14. Click the Apply button.
  15. Click the OK button.

To run the Epic Games Store as an administrator:

  1. Right-click on the Epic Games Launcher shortcut on your desktop.
  2. Select Properties.
  3. Click the Compatibility tab.
  4. Check the Run This Program As An Administrator box.
  5. Click the Apply button.
  6. Click the OK button.

Steam

Here's how to run Rocket League in Steam as an administrator:

  1. Open Steam.
  2. Click the Library link along the top.
  3. Right-click Rocket League.
  4. Click the Local Files tab.
  5. Click the Browse Local Files button.
  6. Double-click the Binaries folder.
  7. Double-click the Win64 folder.
  8. Right-click RocketLeague file.
  9. Select Properties.
  10. Click the Compatibility tab.
  11. Check the Run This Program As An Administrator box.
  12. Click the Apply button.
  13. Click the OK button.
