Apple has blocked your ability to update or install Fortnite on iOS devices. Players with Fortnite currently installed on their iOS device can still play version 13.40 of Fortnite with some limitations such as the ability to modify the party joinability setting.
If you are playing Fortnite through cloud gaming on an iOS device, you will be playing the current version of Fortnite.
