Liquid error: undefined method `gsub' for nil:NilClass

Easy Anticheat wasn't installed and I can't play. How do I fix this?

If you chose No when prompted for Easy Anticheat (EAC) to be installed after the Fortnite update, you will need to install it. You will be unable to start Fortnite without this program.

The easiest way to install it is as follows:
  1. Exit the EAC launcher.
  2. Run Fortnite from the Epic Games launcher again.
  3. When the EAC install prompt comes up from Windows, click Yes.
If the prompt doesn't come up for some reason, you will need to install it manually by following these steps:
  1. Navigate to the Easy Anti Cheat folder in your Fortnite install directory.
    • The default location is C:\Program Files\EpicGames\Fortnite\FortniteGame\Binaries\Win64\EasyAntiCheat
  2. Locate EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe
  3. Double-click the file.
  4. Click the install Easy Anti Cheat button.
  5. Start the Epic Games launcher and Fortnite.
