Xbox One Troubleshooting

Last Updated: Feb 06, 2018 05:03PM EST
If you are having trouble accessing Fortnite on Xbox One, please try the following:
  • Clear your Console Cache: To clear your Console Cache, power down your console, then unplug the power cable from the back of the Xbox One.  Wait for two minutes, then plug the power cable back into the back of the Xbox One, and monitor the power brick, waiting for it to cycle from a white light to an orange light, and then turn the power on.  This will perform a cold restart of the system.
  • Check for Updates:
    • On Xbox Home, select My games & apps.
    • Select Games, highlight Fortnite, and then press the Menu button.
    • Select Manage game.
    • Select the game logo, press the Menu button, and then select Updates
    • Download any available updates
  •  Reinstall Fortnite:
    • On Xbox Home, select My games & apps.
    • Select Games, highlight Fortnite and then press the Menu button.
    • Select Manage game.
    • Select the game logo, press the Menu button, and then select Uninstall.
    • Navigate to the Ready To Install section, select Fortnite, press the Menu button and select Install

If you continue to see issues after that, please let us know.
